23 August 2018

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Class of 2018 has done extremely well in their GCSE examinations.  Despite the more rigorous, reformed qualifications in the majority of subjects, a number of grade 9s (equivalent to A**) were achieved, with some of our students gaining several of these top grades in their set of results.  We have had a sharp 10% increase of students attaining grades 9 to 7 (equivalent to A** to A) in both English and Mathematics which we are delighted with.

Our top performing students with a huge 107 9 to 7 grades between them include Jonathan Leigh, Harry Mullinder, Iwan Armstrong, Jack Smallman, Myaa Power, Charlie Ensor, Sam Williams, Billy Barnett, Jordan Duggan and Ffion Neal (pictured with Mrs. Raymont-Hall).  Students who made excellent progress include Edward Lord, Leah Bate, Christina Smith, Daisy Adams, Emma Ozbirn, Jessica Taphouse, Phoebe Hobbs and Celeste Ashford.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our students, staff and families who have worked incredibly hard as a team to ensure our students reach their full potential.  Well done everyone and congratulations to the Class of 2018!
