Attendance Officer

Required September 2025 - Permanent Post

 

30 Hours per week

8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (Hour lunch)

Term Time + 1 Week (PD Days)

Scale 5 (£14.60 - £15.58 per hour)

Annual Salary (£19,557 - £20,869) dependent on experience and length of service

 

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who will be working as part of the Attendance Team, to ensure our students reach their full potential by attending school daily. The ideal candidate will have administrative skills in recording attendance and understand the importance of attendance and punctuality in school performance and student outcomes.  You will need to be approachable and have a confident manner allowing you to communicate with a wide variety of people including parents and Educational Welfare Officers.

As part of the role, you would also be expected to support the First Aid Team.  You would only be expected to provide First Aid assistance when the team is under severe pressure, or during absenteeism.
