Intent: The intent of the Enterprise & Marketing curriculum at Burton Borough School is to provide students with a broad and balanced education that develops their enterprise, entrepreneurial and financial literacy skills. Our aim is to foster a curiosity for business, enterprise and entrepreneurship and encourage students to understand and effectively employ marketing techniques, understand business (and by extension, personal) finance (including financial planning and modelling) and use these skills tools to solve real-world problems.
