Annual Salary: £31,537 to £33,699

Are you highly organised, approachable and passionate about making a difference in a busy school environment? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to support our Principal and Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting and varied role at the heart of the school, offering the opportunity to work closely with colleagues, students and the wider community every day.

Located in the picturesque market town of Newport, on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border, our school offers easy access to Shrewsbury, Stafford, Telford, and Wolverhampton, making it a perfect location for work-life balance. We are proud to be part of the Learning Community Trust. This partnership places us within a forward-thinking, research-informed network of professionals, where collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

Burton Borough has undergone rapid and sustained improvement and is on a very positive journey. This role offers the chance to play an important part in that continued success, supporting leadership to ensure that everything runs smoothly and effectively.

You will be joining a committed and supportive team who live our values every day; we are ambitious for our school, proud of our community, and caring towards each other. We are looking for someone who shares these values and brings warmth, professionalism and energy to their work.

This is a varied and interesting role which would suit someone who:

  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Is people-focused, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Can manage a wide range of administrative tasks with confidence and discretion
  • Enjoys working as part of a supportive and dedicated team

In return, we offer the opportunity to work in a welcoming and forward-thinking school community, with strong support from colleagues and leaders within the school and across the Trust who value collaboration and professional growth.

If you are looking for a role where no two days are the same, and where your work will make a genuine difference, we would be delighted to receive your application.
