In July 2020 we will be taking an expedition to Nepal. This is an amazing opportunity to understand more about conservation, biodiversity and global issues of poverty in a developing country. Students will also find out more about religion in the country. They will have an active impact on supporting development in Nepal by taking part in a community well-building project led by the Red Cross. They will also take a safari in Chitwan National Park, and spend time at the Asian Elephant Conservation Society. They will spend time teaching in a school and living alongside the local people, as well as having adventures boating down the river and living in tents!
This presentation evening will be led by Mrs Stephens, who has organised many previous expeditions, and Global Action who have 14 years experience in Nepal. It will be a chance for students and parents to find out more about the Nepal expedition, and to ask questions and address any concerns.
