Christmas Closure

Please note that Burton Borough School will be closed for Christmas from Saturday 23rd December until Tuesday 2nd January.

 

In addition to hiring out the wonderful sports facilities for community use, the School plays host to a very wide range of clubs, groups and classes, almost all during evenings and weekends.

These can cover adult education, charity events, private parties’ extension classes, slimming groups, theatre and school drama and dance groups, as well as the many types of martial arts disciplines and junior football.

Active8 is a professionally operated football coaching agency offering academies for all ages, starting as young as three and right the way through to twelve years of age. Young Stars Academies aim to assist, develop and nurture young talent whilst also helping children learn about ‘the beautiful game’ in a safe and fun environment.

Dance Connection

Martial Arts and Combat Sports

Telford and Wrekin Council has developed the Combat Sport and Martial Arts policy and procedures to ensure that there are robust vetting/screening measures in place to enable the fair and safe practice of Combat Sports and Martial Arts in Telford and Wrekin Council owned leisure facilities, community centres and schools.
